The First Collegiate Sorority For Online Accredited, Colleges, Universities, and Global Campuses

The Sigma Chi Psi Sorority, Inc. is a privately-owned  501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in late 2019 by two collegiate women who set out to provide a sisterhood for women taking online classes from accredited colleges and universities. In early 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic briefly forced them to put the project on hold, but the opportunity to safely proceed presented itself in October of the same year, so they took a leap of faith and started their first chapter in Baltimore, MD. They now have members across the U.S. Sigma Chi Psi aims to provide a sisterhood for women pursuing their higher educational aspirations online.

Sigma Chi Psi is an organization of educated women with a commitment to building public services within communities by doing “good deeds.” We will be represented by strong women leaders who are paving their way into successful futures, through volunteering, social activities, academic excellence, and career progression. This leadership will continue through our prominent alumnae network, which will proudly help members raise money for our scholarship fund and find valuable jobs upon graduation.
